Transitions Strategic Plan
  • Goal 1 Increase the number and diversity of
    community members attending
  • Transition Committee meetings
  • Strategy Obtain the commitments of
10 additional adult community members, 4 faculty
  • and 4 students to attend each of our
future meetings for the next year at a
  • minimum. With our typical number of
attendees, this will put us around 30 regular
  • contributors. It can also increase
the diversity of thought and experiences of the
    group
  • Process 1) Put all members on an e-mail
    group list
  • 2) Send agenda in
    advance to all committee members
  • 3) Implement goal 4
    below
  • Goal 2 Expand the O.P.R. model to include
    Action Steps.
  • Strategy Action Steps are a method
of obtaining more in-depth information on
  • selected topics. Processes include
    visiting/contacting key personnel that
  • were involved in similar decision in
    other school districts.
  • Process Develop the list of
contacts/schools that we should interview to gain
  • insight into their
    experiences.
