  demonstrate how their increased pledges might
  further the mission of St Timothys

• St Timothys Mission
• As people of God we joyfully worship God, spread
  the Word of Gods love, treasure all people, and
  serve others everywhere in the name of Jesus
  Christ
• Therefore with Gods help, we open our doors to
  everyone, open our hearts in worship, open our
  eyes to the Spirits gifts, open our arms to
  embrace Gods work
• The budget provides the tools to execute this
  Mission
• Stewardship campaign is about gathering the
  talent and treasure that constitutes these tools
• The Vision Budget is about
• Involving the people of St Timothys in the
  budget process and
• Informing them how they might be a more effective
  part of St Timothys Mission

Our Resources?

• The Mission of St Timothys comprises 2
  components the Foundation and Discretionary
  missions
• The Foundation Mission Essentially this building
  and the activities
• Worship
• Praise and Music
• Fellowship and support
• The Nursery School
• Service to the Community by accommodating the
  various outside groups that use it
• 98 of Budget (Payroll, Mortgage payment,
  Administration, Diocesan Support, Building and
  Grounds,)
• Budget for 2009 is 703,000

Resources?

• The Discretionary Mission ,
• 28 ministries, only 12 funded (14K!)
• Reflect on what wonderful things the Ministries
  do, within the church, local community,
  nationally and beyond
• Welcoming program for newcomers
• Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic
• Youth to Dungannon
• Pine Ridge Mission
• The Little Roses Orphanage in Honduras
• The birthday and sympathy cards
• The worth of far outstrips those 14 K!
• That is where AGAPE and our annual fund raisers
  (Youth Group Car wash, Silent Auction, etc.) come
  into play.

• Consider our Stewardship theme
• Abundant Giving, Abundant Life
• Has it not been your experience that the more you
  do for others, the better you feel?
• We are giving you the opportunity to see how you
  can feel that feeling again!
• Consider now what might be achieved with just a
  modest increase in giving!

• How will the Vestry finally decide (assuming
  there are decisions to be made )?
• Prayer
• Review of Feedback
• Telephone interviews, etc.
• Discussion
• Perhaps a mixture of Spread and Big Ticket
• We ask for your prayers as you and others
  contemplate the giving of time talent and
  treasure
• For the increased support of St Timothys Mission
• And for the Vestry to have the grace to make
  decisions that best serve Gods purpose for St
  Timothys
