The Setting

• There are about three places the story takes
  place... in Brookland School ,in West London,
  Skeleton Key, Cuba, And the last and finale place
  it takes place is in Murmansk, Russia.

Characters

• There are many characters in this book, one
  character is Alex rider, a teenage spy who never
  wanted to get involved in this kind of business
  and just wants to be a regular school boy, in
  West, London.
• Then there is Belinda Troy And Glen Carver, they
  are going to be Alexs fake parents for their
  mission to get to Skeleton Key, Cuba.
• Smithers, Mrs. Jones, Mr. Blunt and Mr. Crawly,
  all work at Ml6 and have forced Alex to work for
  them twice, even though Alex does not want to and
  has told them more than once.
• Then, last but not least, there is Sarvo the man
  who wants to set off a nuclear bomb to restore
  Russia,Conrad the man who wants to kill Alex, and
  the Russian president who is going about these
  things all wrong!

Letter to Alex

• Dear Alex,
• I have always wondered what happened to your mom
  and dad. Did they die being a spy? I very much
  agree with you about not being a spy, I would not
  want to be one either. Well, I have a lot more
  questions, but I have to run!

Plot Summery

• Alex has been through to much for his fourteen
  years. Hes been shot at by terrorists, chased
  down a mountain on a snowboard he made by
  himself, and has stood face-to-face with nothing
  but pure evil! Twice,14 year old Alex has managed
  to save the world, and by doing so, almost gotten
  killed twice! But now Alex is faced with
  something even more dangerous and difficult. The
  desperation of a man who has last everything he
  loved his country and his only son. A man who
  just happens to have a huge grudge against the
  free world and a nuclear weapon. To see his
  beloved Russia, once again become a world power,
  he will stop at nothing. Unless, Alex can stop
  him

My Reaction to the Story

• I loved this story because it is full of twists
  and turns and you never know what is going to
  happen next! Alex almost gets killed, three times
  so you really get nervous. I like it that Alex is
  really brave ( in a stupid way) because it really
  gets your heart to beat. I especially liked the
  part when Alex almost went through the shredder
  because I was not sure if he was going to die or
  if Sarvo was going to save him from Conrad.

Favorite Quote

• We have lost Alex rider I like this quote
  because at first I thought that Alex had died,
  but all Mrs. Jones was saying was that Alex would
  never work for them again since he almost got
  killed by a great white shark when he went scuba
  diving.

Recommendation

• I would recommend this book for kids around the
  age of 12 because it has a lot of violence at
  some parts. I would also recommend this book to
  kids who like a lot of suspense. It is a great
  book!

• Hi. My name is Chandler Stier. I am 12 years
  old. I have two dogs, Missie and McDuff, they are
  maltase. They are 6 years old. I also have a
  sister, she is 15 years old, and loves to play
  volleyball. I enjoy soccer and running. In my
  spare time I like to read and go swimming.
