  reworking if necessary when class starts.

• Inserting graphics
• Add ALT text
• Right click on graphic
• Picture Properties
• General Tab Alternative Representations
• Text Type what picture is only (teacher NOT
  picture of teacher)
• Consider adding a picture of yourself (use the
  digital camera if necessary!

Activity Write-Up I

• Follow directions carefully!
• Organize Instruction by content and technology
  as well as before, during, and after computer.
• Tell me HOW not WHAT!
• Use the reading to guide your work.
• Reworking
• You may redo your write-up for up to a grade of B
  (89).
• If you received a B and want to revise, you can
  receive up to half the points missed.
• Revisions due by Thursday.

Importing Files

• Saving Technology Projects
• Open project
• File Save as Web Page
• Save in your zdrive (youll see a file and a
  folder)
• One word name, leave htm extension
• Go to files and select both and copy (click one
  use control key click the other)
• Return to FrontPage
• Go to file list (left side) and paste
• Create new folders for organization
• Link project name to file (not folder)

Design Extras

• Adding a Discussion Board
• File New Page
• Click on Web Site Template
• Choose Discussion Web Wizard
• Be sure and choose Add to current Web before
  moving on!
• Click OK and proceed through setup. Using all
  the preset selections will be sufficient.

• Adding Sound Clips
• Background Sound (will play when arriving at your
  homepage)
• Go to homepage
• Right click on Page Properties
• Enter location of sound file (URL or saved file)
• Decide how long to play the music
• Sound Clips
• Save clips in your zdrive.
• Link picture or label to clip.
