5Fish and Aquatic Life
-Lung fish, bichirs, and reed fish are some of
the aquatic life in South Africa -Approximately
200 species of fish are found in Lake Nyasa,
four-fifths of which are only found there. -The
coelacanth was thought to be extinct for more
than 60 million years, was discovered to be alive
off the east coast of South Africa.

earths surface
