Fish and Aquatic Life
-Lung fish, bichirs, and reed fish are some of
the aquatic life in South Africa -Approximately
200 species of fish are found in Lake Nyasa,
four-fifths of which are only found there. -The
coelacanth was thought to be extinct for more
than 60 million years, was discovered to be alive
off the east coast of South Africa.

Diamonds are the earths hardest mineral 80 of

so rare that usually 250 tons of rock have 1

exist at depths of 150 to 200 km below the
earths surface
