  • He was the middle child to Rev. Martin Luther
  • King Sr. and Alberta King.

  • King had Exceptionally good grades in school.
  • He Skipped Three grade levels.
  • Started Morehouse college in 1944 At the age of
    fifteen.
  • Graduated from Boston University with a Ph.D. in
    Philosophy.

  • King was the assistant pastor at Ebenezer Baptist
    Church.
  • King led nonviolent demonstrations for open
    housing, jobs and educational opportunities for
    blacks across the nation.

    than 30 times.
  • In 1964 King watched President Lyndon B. Johnson
    sign a comprehensive Civil Rights Bill.

Dr. king was assassinated As he stood on the
balcony Talking with friends by a Man of the name
James Earl Ray in Memphis, Tennessee.
While a good man is gone His Legend and hopes
for a better tomorrow will live On.
