12Data Entry System
- New! Web-based system (formerly known as AADSI)
will incorporate the alternate assessment
changes. - Anticipated date for data entry is January 5,
2005. - Important! Start using the new hard copy forms to
begin the assessment process for the 2004-2005
school year - Level I Begin in September
- Level II Begin as soon as forms are available
- Anticipated by the end of October

- Throw away the old forms!
- If your teachers use the old forms, when they
start data entry, items WILL NOT MATCH!

15HEADS UP!Teacher Access to Web Application
- All teachers who have students eligible for
alternate assessment will need to obtain a
password to access the Web-based application. - How to obtain passwords will be disseminated

presentation - Statewide Alternate Assessment training
opportunities - Notification through AADSI and ADE/ESS listserv
- Posted on AADSI and ADE Alternate Assessment Web

- 15 trainings scheduled throughout the state
- October 2004 through January 2005
- Due to the many changes, it is important for each
PEA to send only 2 participants - 1 administrator
- 1 teacher who has previously administered the
alternate assessment - Training participants will train other teachers
in the PEA on the new requirements
