Very sweet. But are we actually expected to
actually believe in the Resurrection?
4The Resurrection..well, thats a lovely story.
Very sweet. But are we actually expected to
actually believe in the Resurrection? If should
you be one of those people who dont believe in
the Resurrection, let me say to you that youre
in excellent company. There are many people,
respected scholars, faithful church-goers
bright people of strong faith and good conscience
who dont believe in a literal Resurrection.
There are also bright, faithful people who do
believe in it. Either way you go, youre in good
company
5thinking about whether the Resurrection literally
happened or not can make for an engaging academic
exercise but its not the point. Theres a
danger of becoming so obsessed with the facts
that we lose sight of the truth. Heres
whats true Out of dust and ashes utter defeat
good comes Resurrection those amazing times
when things work out, not in spite of all that
has gone wrong but somehow through, even because
of, the very wrongness.

There was no profit under the sun.

before Godand they were judged, each one
according to his works. - This is the second death.
15- But I say to you that for every idle word men may
speak, they will give account of it in the day of
judgment.

Pharaohs daughter, - choosing rather to suffer affliction with the
people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures
of sin, - esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches
than the treasures in Egypt for he looked to the
reward.

spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered
these things and to enter into His glory?

expounded to them in all the Scriptures the

- The future of the wicked shall be cut off

made unto salvation. For the Scripture says,
Whoever believes on Him will not be put to
