- Webpages functionalities for toys
- Searching Sorting
- Reviewing
- Rating
- Communication between the world and our webpage
6Adapted Tricycle Team

- Daniel Fan
- Devapratim Sarma
- Lily Cheng
- York Cheng
7Purpose
- Most toys require bilateral motion, but some kids
who have CP have asymmetric motor capabilities - Therapeutic enhance and develop muscles
- Different type of toy than they normally would
have because it requires physical activity
8Concerns/Design Issues
- Can the child balance themselves
- Is the device safe
- Will the child be able to maneuver alone
- Ease of use
- Can the child apply enough force
9Quarter Plans
- Get feedback from UCP
- Analyze the market
- Research other adapted mobility toys
- Analyze the mechanics of the tricycle
- Create design model
- Develop prototype
10Button Pusher Team
Two different prototypes to give the patients
better accuracy,and the mechanical advantage
needed to push the buttons on childrens toys.
- Electrical
- Bigger Button that would activate a button pusher
device. - This may be more adaptable to different toys
- Mechanical
- Transfer the patients force
- Provide mechanical advantage.
- Allows the child to interact more personally with
the toy.
Both buttons would have to be set up by an aid
11Current Goals
- Week Goals
- 4 UCP Visit Data Collection
- 5 Work on Design Ideas
- 6 Prototyping
- 7 Prototyping
- 8 Return to UCP for feedback
- 9 Organize Data
12Current Project Ideas
This simple model, could transfer the patents
force and increase mechanical advantage
More ideas to come with input from UCP
