• Job 1 is to ensure that the Booster is back to
  normal operation by Monday, 2/3!
• If you do a study a study, write it up and put it
  on the web!!!! (even a webpage consisting of
  pointers to the logbook is better than nothing).

Booster Studies Schedule - Draft

• Monday, 1/27
• 8-4  Establish beam in Booster. Do MP02 aperture
  scan.  Return beam to pre-shutdown quality. Pulse
  MP02 power supply if time (Tomlin, Lackey)
• 4-12  Aperture scans (Coney, Prebys)
• Tuesday, 1/28
• day  Pulse MP02 power supply (Lackey)
• 6-?? Secure M.I. and extract beam to MI-8.

• Wednesday, 1/29
•  8-4  Fire up Gamma-t. system. Look at beam
  steering and attempt to center beam in quads.
   Look at stability of beam for high intensity
  with the long. damping system.  Perhaps try to
  spoil the beam with the "fuzzer" (Tomlin, Lackey,
  Prebys, Pellico).
• 4-12  Lattice measurement (Coney, Prebys)
   unless we have to take another stab at
  extracting beam.
• Thursday, 1/30
• 8-12  Go to DC and set to injection conditions.

• 12-4 Energy acceptance, emmittance growth,
  ORBUMP painting.  (Spentz,  Tomlin)
• 4-12 Beam bump extinction studies, RC sweep
  studies, Longitudinal filling studies (Prebys)
• Friday, 1/31
• 8-12 Ramped chromaticity measurement (Tomlin)
• 0-8 Resonance studies (Spentz)
• 8-12  IPM response (aborted beam) studies.
   Short batch (Pellico??).
• 12-4  DC Chromaticity

Feedback

• Katherine Harkey would like to be around for
  short batch studies, but cant be here when its
  scheduled. Can we move it earlier?
• Kiyomis bunch rotation studies? (I thought
  these could be done parasitically)
• Dave McGinnis has offered to help get his program
  running to help Spentz do his study (put beam in
  DC Thursday owl??).
