Materials ResourcesOptimize Use of Alternative
Materials Purchasing policies target the use of
alternative materials including salvaged
materials, recycled content, local/regional
materials, and certified wood. 50 of the wood is
certified as sustainably harvested. Indoor
Environmental QualityAir quality is protected
through the use of low VOC paints, sealants and
glues.
- Green design features of the Clubhouse include
- Roof Insulation is R-55.5 Walls are R-20 and
Basement walls R-17.5. - Carpet is recycled and fully recyclable.
- Cabinets are strawboard with sustainably
harvested Eucalyptus wood. - Dual flush toilets low flow shower heads.
- Commissioned Heating and Ventilation systems.
