  • Ms. June Chern was my insurance agent more than
    ten years, about two years ago I got a letter
    from her office, it is an announcement letter
    tell us she got a chance to be promote to the
    district manager, she is unable to handling our
    accounts any more, but she recommends a new agent
    Ms. Stacy Chern to provide same good service in
    the future.
  • Due to long-term deal with Ms. June Chern, I am
    not very comfortable to accept an unknown agent
    thus I call her office to find out what is going
    on.
  • After a short conversation with her assistant I
    found out Ms. Stacy Chern is her daughter, she
    had more than three years working experience. She
    had been practice and training in Junes office
    for couple of months. June is not abandoning her
    old customers, but her daughter inherits her
    agencys all old customers.

  • What are basic requirements for education?
  • B.A. degree was a must required before
  • College degree okay now
  • Some of agencies are high school degree, but they
    are doing well because this job is base on ones
    personality and working attitude.

  • How to build up customers relationship?
  • Care, you must really care about your customers
    and solving insurance need then you will get
    clients trust and respect, for return most of my
    clients became my friends.

  • How to face the pressure of the insurance quotas
    requirement?
  • I wouldnt says it is not a pressure, but I
    always did more than companys require
  • I set a goal for myself, but not limit by the
    companys requirements.

  • What is the most stress situation happen in your
    job?
  • Optimistic, I always look on the positive side of
    errand, mostly the things make me concerned, are
    insurance not completed, such as, auto repair not
    done on time, under writer estimate different
    price than body shop, so they need another quote
    or waiting other adjust, the way I handle the
    stress is see them as challenge.

  • Who is the person you want to thank most, and
    why?
  • First of all, I would like to thank my father and
    my sister, they are the very important people to
    refer me step in this field during the turning
    point, especially my father encourage me to take
    a license of my own, then I would like to thank
    those person who gave me hard time in the
    beginning, during those practice I improve my
    knowledge and learn more skills to resolve
    insurance issues.

  • How to build up your work teams to work together?
  • I am willing to share my experience and willing
    to assist my entire fellow worker, I am holding
    meeting weekly for in my district territory, for
    complicate and or special case, if it is
    necessary we will discuss together during
    meeting.

From nothing to something
  • 1.  After she got her own license and then rent
    one table to starting her own business.
  • 2.  June start her insurance carrier from entry
    level to get work experience.
  • 3.  She relocate herself from La Vern to Rowland
    Height Area, she share a 750 sqft office with
    another agency, until she take over whole office
    and with 4-5 agent work for her.
  • 4. Since she been promote to the district
    manager, her agents territories are from
    Torrance to Riverside area. Now, she has 28 full
    time agent works with her together and there have
    another 8-reserve agent under practice.
  • As a long-term customer with June Chern, I saw
    her business growing, hard working, professional
    knowledge, patient and care with customers, the
    successes is not easy. She also won a lot of
    Award and Certificates from her outstanding
    performance. I definitely no doubt she will has
    more patronage in the future.
