Title: A Dads Wish
1A Dads Wish
A Tribute to The Memory of David
2Everyone loved David for just what he was, he
couldnt be otherwise thats just what he was.
He was never content to just know what he
knows, he studied and listened knowing thats how
he grows.
He had compassion, it was part of his life, he
gave to the needy to lessen their strife.
He was often alone but never was lonely, cus
Jesus was with him his one and only.
When I grow up, my wishes are one, Id like to
become just like my son.
3David was giving, he would give of himself he
nursed and he nurtured his mom back to health.
When she broke many bones in a bad traffic
quirk, he offered to help out while I went back
to work.
He washed and he cleaned and kept things up to
snuff, he even arranged to provide dinner and
stuff.
The days and the weeks passed swiftly with
care, his mom could relax she knew he was there.
When I grow up, my wishes are one, Id like to
become just like my son.
4David was persistent, now let me explain, setting
up my computer was really a pain.
David knew DOS, like none of us know, he tackled
the set-up he made my pride glow.
He read and he tweaked and even he tugged he
knew that he must remove every last bug.
When he was finished I knew I could bet that I
would go easily surfing the net.
When I grow up, my wishes are one, Id like to
become just like my son.
