HEAT Self Service
HEAT Self Service requires the use of Internet
Explorer 5.5 or above
Double click on the Internet Explorer icon on
your desktop. Do NOT use Netscape Navigator nor
Netscape Communicator.

In the address bar, type http//heatss/heatselfse
rvice and press Enter, or from the Intranet page
select Technology Work order by single clicking
on the link.

You will see the HEAT Self Service Screen
As an Option you can add this to your Favorites
folder or send a Shortcut to Desktop. Type your
User ID (This is the same as your Network Login
ID) and click LOGON. A password is not
required. If you have never logged a work order
with the Help Desk please call us at 397 7700 so
that we can enter your information into our
database and create a Heat Account for you.
All calls should be logged under the persons
login ID that has the problem.

If you have issues logged under your User ID your
screen will look similar to this. You can enter
the Reference ID to search for an issue not
displayed or single click on the underlined issue
number you wish to view.

If you would like to enter a new issue click on
NEW Issue on the left hand side. Your screen
should look similar to this.
If any information in the User Login area is
incorrect or missing please call or email the
Helpdesk to let us know what to change. Please
do not attempt to correct it on this screen.
One work order should be submitted per issue.

After entering all your information click on
Submit. If there were no errors you should
receive a New Issue Confirmation. Please make
note of your reference ID for this issue.
The most common error is a required field that
was omitted.

When you are finished entering work orders click
on the Logout button on the left hand side of the
screen. This screen tells you that you have
logged out.
