• a shared 6 digit selcall standard which offers
  as many of the existing facilities as possible
• Testing of compatibility proven and certified by
  an independent body

  since the 9360 with V3.03 software without the
  need for software or hardware upgrade

Barrett - Current Status

• Codan V3.14 limited feature open 6 digit
  implemented and tested.
• International UN fully featured open 6 digit
  implemented and tested.
• CCIR 494-4 4 digit retained independently and
  within the above for backwards compatibility.

• All other Barrett protocols to allow full
  backward compatibility

In Conclusion

• Time scales have been tight due to legal aspects
  of the IPED
• Barrett believes that all parties have acted with

  field interoperability
• We are very close to a successful conclusion
