- In 2001, the Board committee expressed concerns
on - The fact that country-specific laws were not
present in the curriculum. - The Professional Development part was not
working. - Exam 3 and 4 were too theory-oriented.

- Why change so often?
- Lots of problems with the year 2000 system
- Members of the SOA pointed out that changes would
be necessary, particularly on the relevance of
certain exam subjects

- Preliminary education will be more effective and
relevant new texts to come - Exame 5 and parts of 6 and 7 will be replaced by
more imporant subjects and by modules - Nation-specific laws will be reintroduced in FSA
