An Uncomplicated Command

• (Jeremiah 722-23) When I brought your
  forefathers out of Egypt and spoke to them, I did
  not just give them commands about burnt offerings
  and sacrifices, but I gave them this command

• (John 1025-27) Jesus said, "I spoke to you, but
  you did not believe. The miracles I do in My
  Father's name speak for Me, but you do not
  believe because you are not My sheep. My sheep
  listen to My voice I know them, and they follow
  Me.

  attention instead, they followed the stubborn
  inclinations of their evil hearts. They went
  backward and not forward.

• (1 Samuel 1522-23) "Does the LORD delight in
  burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in
  obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better
  than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the
  fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of
  witchcraft, and arrogance like the evil of
  idolatry.

  Me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and
  did more evil than their forefathers. When you
  tell them all this, they will not listen to you
  when you call to them, they will not answer.
