Learning Outcomes After completing the activity,
students will be able to tell what volume is and
how the volume of a container can be measured.
Students will also demonstrate how to make a bar
graph and analyze the information on the
graph. Illinois Learning Standards
addressed 7.A.1a Measure volume using
appropriate measuring instruments. 11.A.1c
Collect data for investigations using
measuring instruments and
technologies. 10.A.1a Organize and display data
using pictures or bar graphs.

Note The age group I was working with were
kindergarteners. I was still needed to assist
them in completing the asynchronous lesson. I
did not have them do the graph portion of the
lesson as well as the writing down of answers to
the questions. I just verbally asked them the
questions and they responded back.
