  • The most significant influence we all can have
on young children is to model the behaviors we
desire. Do what I say, not what I do, doesnt
work. We believe it is the beginning of a very
important partnership between home and school and
has a significant impact on your childs success
in school. We know that many of you are working
parents. However, as you will learn, there are
many ways to participate in your childs
education. Thus, we encourage you to participate
in whatever capacity you can throughout the
school year. I will leave you with the following
thought by Emily Dickinson for our theme this
marking period If I can stop one heart from
breaking/ I shall not live in vain/ If I can ease
one life the aching/Or cool one pain/ Or help one
fainting robin/into his nest again/I shall not
    live in vain.
  • Thank you.
