• Diagnosis Shoulder (glenohumeral joint)
  injection
• History This patient was sent for ultrasound
  guided injection of the shoulder. The patient had
  been previously diagnosed with adhesive
  capsulitis.
• Findings A needle (N) is shown deep to the joint
  capsule. The image on the right shows a mild
  distension of the posterior recess during
  injection of an anesthetic/corticosteroid
  mixture. Small bubbles (arrows) appear as bright
  echoes along the non-dependent surface of the
  joint. ISinfraspinatus, Ddeltoid, Hhumerus.
• Treatment None.
