New Project

• In the new project window,
• specify a name for your
• project and put a check
• mark next to
• Local File System (Folder Scanner) option and

  site is included)
• b) Check the following options
• -include subfolders
• -run accessibility checks when running
  verification and
• Click on Save

AccRepair Interface

• Observe that the project is now displayed in the
  Projects pane and also the settings that were
  created for the project.

• In the menu bar go to File-gtScan Folder(s) in
  order to collect the files that you are going to
  evaluate.

• In the Scan Folders page, choose the folder of
  what you want to repair, check the option
  Include subfolders and click on Start

Selected Files

• AccRepair will display a list of documents in
  that folder and will acknowledge how many there
  are in the information window.

Run AccRepair

• Click on Verify

Running Verification Process

• The Running Verification Process window will
  show you the progress of the verification.

Run the AccRepair Wizard?

• When the verification is completed, you will
  automatically see the Run the AccRepair Wizard?
  window
• Verify that the option Run in Verification Only
  mode IS NOT checked.
• Click on Yes.

AccRepair Wizard

• Automatically, the
• AccRepair wizard will
• start the repair bringing
• up accessibility problems
• and locations.
• Click on View if you want
• to see what the page
• looks like.
• Click on Next

Image Text Editor

• In the frame on the left
• you see the html code
• associated with the
• image on the right.
• If alt text is missing, type it in the Alternate
  Text textbox.

• When adding alt text, check Update Library to
  automatically update the same image on other
  pages.
• Click OK to continue to the next image.

Table Repair Utility

• To check and repair the tables on your Website,
  go to
• Tools-gtTable Repair Utility in the main menu.

Table Utility - Editor

• This is an example of a layout table and
  therefore the Table is used for layout has been
  automatically checked. Click Finish to continue
  until you come to a data table.

• This is a data table with two levels of headings.
  Sections is one header and ID and Grade are the
  other.

  this case.

  to Tools -gtForm Repair Utility in the main menu.

Form Utility - Editor

• This is the interface for the Form Repair
  Utility. It provides the source code and
  information on the field labels. Each field needs
  a label to be accessible.

• To add a label (if Has Label is false) select a
  field from the list below. The code associated
  with that field will become highlighted.

• Click on the Field Label tab and highlight the
  text that you would like to use for the label,
  then click Set Label.
• You can also click on Enter new text then type
  in your own label I the given field.
