  • until the end of the School Term in July, our
    work with children and young people is operating
    on an interim basis, with a weekly creche and Fun
    Club on the 2nd and 4th Sundays only.

Make Poverty History
  • on Saturday 2nd July there is to be a large rally
    in Edinburgh to mark the start of the G8 summit,
    when 100,000 people will create a ring around the
    city - as in Birmingham in 1998, only bigger!.
    Many Christians from Walsall are intending to go.
    If you wish to take part, please speak to Ken
    Ilett.

  • A march from Birmingham to Gleneagles to coincide
    with that event will be coming through the centre
    of Walsall on Saturday 18 June and will be
    welcomed at The Crossing.

  • About 100 marchers are expected, but we hope to
    draw a crowd of 200-300 people to fix a white MPH
    band right around the building. If you are able
    to support this event, please come and again,
    let Ken Ilett know.
