  • Today marks the end of Ruths placement with us.
    Thank you, Ruth, for the way that you have
    entered into our church and project life during
    this past month. We wish you every blessing for
    the rest of your training at Queens and in
    ordained ministry beyond that, and we hope you
    will stay in touch!

Bulgaria Aid
  • Churches in Walsall are invited to contribute to
    the income of a Bulgarian family, who have come
    to England so that the father can train to be a
    pastor and evangelist in his own country.

Jennys ordination
  • as priest will take place at 5.00pm on Saturday,
    25th June at St. Johns Church, Wolverhampton.
    Please sign the list on the table in the South
    Aisle if you wish to come and indicate whether
    or not you would like (or can offer) a lift.

Prayer Meeting, 9.45am every Sunday
  • until the end of the School Term in July, our
    work with children and young people is operating
    on an interim basis, with a weekly creche and Fun
    Club on the 2nd and 4th Sundays only.

  • Meanwhile we are meeting each week to pray about
    the way we resource this part of our church life.
    Do please join us in the Vestry at 9.45am any
    Sunday if you would like to or join us in
    Spirit by praying as you prepare to come down to
    church.

Make Poverty History
  • on Saturday 2nd July there is to be a large rally
    in Edinburgh to mark the start of the G8 summit,
    when 100,000 people will create a ring around the
    city - as in Birmingham in 1998, only bigger!.
    Many Christians from Walsall are intending to go.
    If you wish to take part, please speak to Ken
    Ilett.

  • A march from Birmingham to Gleneagles to coincide
    with that event will be coming through the centre
    of Walsall on Saturday 18 June and will be
    welcomed at The Crossing.

  • About 100 marchers are expected, but we hope to
    draw a crowd of 200-300 people to fix a white MPH
    band right around the building. If you are able
    to support this event, please come and again,
    let Ken Ilett know.
