- Workshops are a joint project of LIFT-Missouri,
the Missouri State Library and the Parents As
Teachers National Center and are sponsored by
HeadsUp! Missouri. - The video clips used throughout the workshops
have been pulled from the HeadsUp! Reading video
series.
4Your mission, should you choose to accept it
- Parents will view and practice different ways to
help children learn skills that will help them
become better readers. - Children will have the opportunity to play and
learn with others. - And, each family will receive a book to keep at
the end of the evening.
5Oh man!
- Some children will not want to stay with the
other children the entire time. Have sympathy.
Next time, it might be your kids. - There will be paperwork. (Come on, its a state
sponsored project! There had to be paperwork.)

- Lets take a look at how this preschool teacher
works with these 4 year olds to encourage writing.
