3Wilson County Dress Code 2005-2006
- The Wilson County Board of Education recognizes
that there is a strong correlation between
appropriate attire and a positive learning
environment. - To help create not only the best learning
environment, but also the safest, the following
expectations for student dress have been
established. -
- Apparel or appearance, which tends to draw
attention to an individual rather than to the
educational process and learning environment, - must be avoided.

- All Clothing must not have holes, be cut-off,
ripped or see-through and must be size
appropriate. - Ornamentation such as sequins, glitter, beads,
etc. on all clothing is not allowed. - Pants must be worn at the waist.
- Sagging/Bagging is not allowed.
- Belts are required for clothing designed for
belts in grades 6-12.
5Teach your child responsibility
- Allow them to lay out their clothes the night
before for better - organization and preparation.
- Check your childs clothing the night before
before they come to - school.
