3Club Organizations Club GuidelinesSponsor
must be an on campus certified teacher.Student
Leadership must be in place.Each club must have
some government system.A member of each club,
president, will be a representative for the AHS
House of Representatives.Each club will need to
establish a constitution and ruling system
available for the administration.
RecommendationsClub leaders should be in good
academic standing.Students need to be passing
for outside school activities-including charged
events and any trips in which classes will be
missed.Clubs should establish a peer tutoring
network to help keep all members passing classing
and offer academic support.Each club can have 1
fund raiser per year.

Outline
- Article I Statement of the name of the
organization - Ex. This representative body of the students of
Atascocita High School shall be named Student
Council. - Article II General purpose of organization and
duties of members. Group may have as many as
needed. - Ex. Make for a more informed student body and
promote the interest among the students and
faculty in school activities. - Article III Define Membership. Who and how do
you qualify to be a member? What are the
expectations of your members to keep membership
active. - Ex. Council shall be made up of an elected board
and non-elected members. - Article IV Elections/Selection Process. Create
a set up procedure to elect/remove a governing
body for the organization. Decide what your
governing body is going to be, president, vice
president, etc., you will need to have at least
two governing people. You will also need to
decide how long a term will be and when you will
hold your elections. For example will you hold
elections at the beginning of the new school year
or the end of the current year for next years
officers? What offences will cause you to be
removed from an office? How will you make
decisions, majority vote, 2/3 vote, etc.? - Article V Meetings. What will your schedule be,
such as once a week or every other week? How
often will you have them and at what time? - Article VI Method and procedure of Amending and
Ratifyng the constitution. Will you vote to
change things and how many people must commit to
make it pass or change? - Sub Note All founders of organization must sign
original constitution.

- - Establish Community Internships for students.
- - Establish a Service-Learning Fund Raiser.
- What goals has the committee accomplished?
- - AHS Internships program proposal is on the AHS

- - The Service-Learning Fund Raiser will be the
tree logo mural in the SLC suite where community
partners buy nameplate apples.

- - Flight School is organized on paper
- Establish relationship with PTSA for volunteers
to run Flight School. - Propose orientations that include Big
Brother/Sister and Ropes

9Fund Raising
- What are the main goals of this committee?
- Create ways to raise funds for AHS general
activity fund - Our main goals are to raise money for the general
fund. The general fund is used to finance special
programming for students and staff. The account
will be used for things like field trips, guest
speakers, special projects needing transportation
or funding, supplies for academic classes,
resource materials, staff development, workshops,
UIL academic competions.

- - T-shirt sales totaling 6279.20
- Panera Bread fund raiser totaling 202.88
- We have already raised about 6,482.08

- Other points to report at the Community
Engagement Meeting---Side walk pavers sold to
public - -We have an on going fund raiser at Panara
bread on the third Thursday of every month. We
are also going to do a cookbook, brick pavers,
and a Cocoa Cola fundraiser all starting at the
beginning of the School year. We hope to see you
all at Panara bread this Thursday evening. - - Began efforts of compiling an
AHS cookbook. The cookbook will include recipes
for apppetizers, soups, salads, entrees,
desserts, breads, etc. Notices have been posted
at TMS and AMS via email and newsletters.
Notices were also posted on Eagle Springs and
Summerwood community website. - -We only received about 18 recipes and have
decided to wait until Flight School to distribute
a flyer advertising the cookbook with information
on how to submit a recipe if interested. -
11Fundraising Needs You!
- We need more people to join the fund raising
committee. - We need more volunteers with the monthly Panera
Bread fund raiser. - We will be soliciting volunteers at a later date
to assist in collecting, compiling, typing and
other preparations regarding the cookbook. - We have an on going fund raiser at Panara bread
on the third Thursday of every month. We are also
going to do a cookbook, brick pavers, and a Cocoa
Cola fundraiser all starting at the beginning of
the School year. We hope to see you all at Panara
bread on June 22.

(Highs/ Positives) and Dips (Lows/Negatives)
about the AHS environment on a weekly/monthly
bases. - These student thought can be displayed in each
house so that everyone is aware of what is going
on in the school. Kind of like Pros and Cons.

lower grade level. - Which will promote leadership and self

help HHS and KHS students build student voice on
their campus. Thus showing community involvement
and awareness.
