• the LORD appeared to him at night and said
         "I have heard your prayer and have chosen
  this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.
  
•   "When I shut up the heavens so that there is
  no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or
  send a plague among my people, if my people, who
  are called by my name, will humble themselves and
  pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked
  ways, then will I hear from heaven and will
  forgive their sin and will heal their land.

What must change about me so that the culture
will be changed?

. . . If MY people . . .

• God calls us to repentance.
• Repentance is a turning point to move in the
  opposite direction.

Change

• We say we have changed but . . . did anything
  really change?
• What change do you need to make in your life?
• What change would God have you make in order to
  make a difference in the world?
• Cant talk about the difference Christ makes
  when our lives look same old, same old day in
  and day out.

Redemptive Purpose

• We have been called to this generation.
• Change begins with us.
• To live Kingdom lives means that we seek to live
  beyond the life thats offered to us by culture,
  family or material pursuit.

Making a way for the Lord

• The way for His coming is made straight through
  our repentance.
• Turn from the old ways toward Gods ways.
