Name Conferred by H.M. the King as Suvarnabhumi
or Golden Land in 2000. Construction Began in
2001. Completion Expected to be by June
2006. Area approximately 8000 acres. Capacity
designed to handle 30 million passengers at
opening day and 100 million upon full
development. Terminal Passenger Complex Seven
floors and a basement will give the terminal a
total floor area of over 500,000m² making it the
largest in the world.
