• EVENT RACES
• NEW RACE FOR 2008 42km Mountain Bike
• Two lap Mountain Bike Race for the more serious
  mountain biker based on the Snow
• Farm Trail system as below.
• Mountain Half Marathon 21km Run / MTB
• Male/Female Open Male/Female Veteran (40)
  Categories
• This is a classic 21km mountain running or biking
  race starting and finishing
• at Snow Farm atop the Pisa Range an altitude of
  1500m. The trails follow
• mountain streams and tussock hills on trails
  which in winter are used for cross
• country skiing. Enjoy spectacular views of Mt
  Aspiring and the Southern
• Alps both from the trails and whilst relaxing in
  the lodge post race.
• 2. 10km Fun Run or Walk
• Male/Female Junior Male/Female (u19) Categories
• This follows the longer course for those who want
  a taste of running or walking
• at altitude.

EVENT INFO Entry Fees Entry fees shown are
pre-race day entry fees. Fees are 10 extra on
race day. ENTER ONLINE www.snowfarmnz.com/events
Start The MTB races start at 9.30am and Running
/ Walking at 10am at the Snow Farm Lodge on
Wednesday 3 January 08. Finish All events finish
at the Lodge. Food refreshments (licensed bar)
will be available before and after the race.
Showers will also be available for racers. Prize
Giving Prizes will be awarded to major place
getters in the 21km race and first place in the
5km 10km events. All entrants in attendance at
the prize giving will be eligible for spot
prizes. Cancellation / Postponement In event of
race cancellation, notice will be given on local
radio stations and the event will be held
Saturday 5 January. Should we receive less than
48 hours notice of cancellation from competitors,
full payment will be required. Recommended
Gear The event is held in a mountain environment
and conditions can deteriorate quickly.
Competitors will be required to bring appropriate
gear for conditions (ie wind waterproof
jacket or polypropylene or equivalent, hat
gloves).
