Comments by children indicate that the following
are key strengths at the school.
Superb grounds / playtimes lots of friends,
lots of space, beautiful grounds well cared for,
plants, playtrail, lower monkey bars, toy shed,
lots of lovely toys and equipment, having 3
playtimes is good Fantastic staff - Headteacher,
teachers and helpers are good at teaching, kind
and caring they explain things well and listen
to us they help us to learn. Weve got good
teaching in this school Learning - Learning
and activities are fun and interesting, we make
things and learn things we havent learnt before,
Interesting talks, we have lots of visitors and
go on trips, we can ask questions, International
Primary Curriculum topics and Entry Days are
great We are a healthy school - school dinners,
healthy tuck shop, eating lunch outside in the
Summer, fruit at breaktime are all great
Behaviour is good - Behaviour, Golden Rules and
Golden Time, I love Golden Time because we
deserve it.

Our school is friendly - We have lots of
friends, school is very friendly and people are
kind and happy Clubs are good particularly
gardening, boys and girls football, ICT 16ICT
- IT software, our computers and computer suite
Good equipment - Lots of good equipment, hall
and classrooms, (like the school taps, pe
apparatus, Library Subject teaching - P.E /
Sport , Music lessons, instruments, songs in
assembly, choir/ singing , Assemblies, songs ,
class assemblies, Maths , Art, Big Writing,
French, Science Safety - Feel safe, like the
gates and fire drills, any bullying or problems
are sorted out straight away Displays, brightly
coloured and help you to learn, classrooms are

Children came up with lots of ideas but based on
the majority of responses, children would like to
see the following things to improve our school
further.
Outdoor Learning - Make playtimes even better by
giving children ideas of games to play, resurface
the tennis court area and clear the overgrown
brambles and nettles behind the fence, mend the
fountain by Year R, replace the football goal
which is broken, replace the friendship stop and
set up new buddy system, have longer playtimes,
more footballs and football pitchesmake sure the
quiet area is quiet, eat outside more, get some
more picnic tables, do more learning outside
use the pond more, get more shade, fix the train
track, paint the classrooms.. Learning Do more
French, make sure we dont sit on the floor for
too long, have more school trips, we need to do
more International Primary Curriculum learning ,
do more swimming, art, ICT and P.E, learn more,
the School Council needs to look more regularly
in the pupil ideas / suggestion books / boxes in
each class.

Looking after Property - Encourage everyone to

Resources - Buy a new ball pump, get even more
P.E equipment, more fact books, pens, get more
