17Is this how you feel when people ramble on about
technology?
18Children dont as technology has always been
around.
19 They are using this technology to publish,
communicate and connect
using social media tools.
20Does school reflect the children's outside world?
21Does school embrace web 2.0 or just the web?
22Does school provide an audience for children's
work?
23Does school enable collaboration outside
the school walls?
24Does school prepare our children for
their globalised futures?
25The World Is Now Flat!
In this flat world, economies are intertwined
people and ideas move frequently and globally
geographical boundaries are erased. Globalisation
is not a prediction, it is a reality now. This
new world order requires us to rethink the
formats of education that are capable of
preparing global citizens.

There are many ways to let our childrens voices
be heard. Today we are going to look at creating
simple avatars to use in the classroom to enhance
the listening and talking process. Examples of
children using avatars can be found
