Title: Fast Plants

1
Fast Plants Butterflies
2
Objectives
  • Care for two organisms through their life
    cycles.
  • Maintain a written log of observations, notes
    and explanations.
  • Describe how butterflies and plants interact.

3
When is life in balance?
  • During the next five weeks, students will care
for their butterflies and plants, witnessing
first hand how they both grow, develop, mature
    and reproduce.

4
When is life in balance?
  • The dilemma is that while butterflies and plants
depend on each other for survival, the butterfly
larvae have the capability of destroying an
    entire population of plants.
  • Are the two populations (butterflies and plants)
    really living in balance?

5

leaf.
