• Domestic Stock Installation
• Some 150 new Domestic and Stock meter assemblies
  required
• Flow restricted to 0.75 L/s
• Pressure reducing valves to reduce pressure to 35
  m head
• LMW to apply same main to meter policy as Urban
  Water.
• Horticultural properties will have meters to be
  located either next to irrigation outlet or
  nearest boundary, House on separate title will
  have separate connection and independent meter
  (approximately 15 km of 50 mm HDPE pipe)
• Internal works responsibility of landowner
  (depends on pipe condition)

• Future Works
• Tender to be issued late June 09
• Award Aug 09
• On-going Landholder Liaison as the works are
  installed

• Designed by consultant Kellogg Brown Root.
• Jetty construction with in the Murray River with
  intake 5 m below normal pool level.
• Six flooded intake lines for pump efficiency.
• Pumps housed in an open concrete basement with
  colourbond building for electricals etc.

• 4 Jacking Pumps for Low Supply (up to 25 ML/d) /
  High Pressure System
• 5 Main Pumps (each able to deliver 64 ML/d)
• Total system delivery of 320 ML/d at 110 m water
  pressure

Connection

• Connections to commence early in the 2010
• Dual System to operate while connections are
  occurring
• Exsiting System will be turned off (with
  pre-warning) when the majority of connections are
  made.

• Growers need to commence

• with teething issues
• As a contingency measure
• Existing system to remain
• dormant for 6 months
