Goals The project goal is to make mobile phones
context-aware and allow users to pre-specify
preferred behaviours for phone adaptations to
context changes.
These behaviour changes include switching between

Context model for context-aware phone

• System Implementation
• The client side implementation is currently for
  the Nokia 6600 using Symbian C. This platform
  has provided many challenges including
• Context information hidden from the application
  layer.
• Limited routing access via Bluetooth for the
  6600
• Library files missing from current 6600 firmware

• PACE Context and Preference Management System
• Manages context information expressed as
  facts and situation abstractions (PACE model)
• Manages and evaluates user preferences expressed
  according to the PACE model
