The Need for Testing Services

• BCC must assure the integrity of student work.
• E-learning students taking course exams must
  present ID and must be proctored.
• 900 exams administered in LRCs fall 01
• 26 on-line courses/800 enrolled spring 02
• 45 on-line courses/1,300 enrolled fall 02

• Enforce instructor guidelines

  Learning Testing
• 1.    Discussion Russ presented the results of a
  survey sent to faculty to comment on the testing
  environment for students taking distance learning
  courses. There are concerns about test security
  and other issues that warrant college-wide
  attention.

• Action Bob is collecting information about the
  testing practices on all campuses (location of
  test centers, process for testing, physical
  environment, fees, etc) and will present the
  results at the next meeting. The group will then
  review the Best Practices guidelines (Russ
  distributed at our last meeting) and will develop
  a college-wide strategy to address the issue.
