Offset Exercise

• The exercise is to offset the entire GLAST and
  the MC particles in z, to test for a pernicious
  class of hardwired numbers. The idea is to
  produce identical events which differ only in the
  origin of coordinates.
• Introduce another enveloping volume into which
  GLAST is inserted
• Provide an offset by which GLAST is translated in
  z within this volume
• Teach G4Generator to look for this offset, and to
  offset the MC origin if found.
• Teach DetDisplay to ignore the new volume in
  computing its levels
• First results are shown in the next slide. We
  will try to incorporate this into a system test,
  and compare important quantities.
