PILOT Progressing Partnership Share Fair

• PURPOSE
• To allow Operating Companies to present their 18
  month forward plans to the rest of the UK
  upstream supply chain, bi-annually. This is an
  agreed action from the PPWG activity planning
  programme.

• 1st event - 18th April 2002 at the Aberdeen Beach
  Ballroom
• 2nd in October
• Who presents?
• Major Operating Companies. Consistent with PPWG
  / C Code of Practice

• Use successful showcase format, e.g. Brownfield
  and E-collaboration events
• Organisational input from PPWG members
• Costs
• Lump sum 30k divided pro rata amongst presenting
  Operating Companies
• LOGIC pays all 3rd party costs

• Format
• 1 full day for each Share Fair, target 500 free
  attendees
• 14 presentation slots (some operators may require
  more than one slot e.g. BP and Shell have
  requested two each)
• A la Carte presentation format i.e. each is
  given 7 times in the 1 day
• Each presentation will last 30 minutes with 15
  minute QA session and 15 minutes swap over
• Beach Ballroom will be used
• Industry Carousel on screens throughout the
  Share Fair will show Energy Minister Brian Wilson
  video comments plus UKOOA / DTI survey
  presentation

• Content of presentations
• Core will be based on UKOOA / DTI Survey but
• These are not prescriptive, merely guidelines
• The event is also about -
• Promoting supply chain communication and
• Breaking down barriers (emotive but key) so
• Participants should be encouraged to address the
  topics suggested in the guidelines but add other
  information as they feel appropriate

• Timeline
• Approve letter of invitation and guideline
  attachments today (12th February), circulated
  previously to co-chairs and copies here
• Post letters of invitation to nominees tomorrow
  (13th February) seeking responses by 22nd
  February (how to get letters signed by
  co-chairs?)
• Prepare promotional flier as confirmed presenters
  become known (quotes from co-chairs needed)
• Launch event at the Business Breakfast on 5th
  March, fliers available for all attendees
• Promote event hard through March to ensure
  attendees
• Deliver on 18th April
