Outline of Day 31

• We want to answer questions about movie roles in
  an efficient manner
• Construct a general query that will tell us for
  any actor, the movies in which that actor has
  appeared
• first make a query listing the movies if we know
  the actors ID
• next, relate Stage Name to ActorID
• Finish by answering more questions from the first
  day of clas

Joining Movie and Roles Tables

• Include only the records where the MovieIDs
  match
• Query should return
• MovieID, Title, and Year from tbl_movies
• Role from tbl_roles
• Run the query
• Make a copy and modify the query so it returns
  ActorIDs if you give a Title and Year as
  parameters.

• Which movies has Meryl Streep appeared in, and
  what role did she play in each?
• Has Robert Altman ever directed Lyle Lovett in a
  movie? If so which ones?
• Has Cameron Diaz ever appeared in movie that
  Woody Allen directed?
• What's the total runtime of the movies Arnold
  Schwarzeneggar has appeared in?
