Valérie Hadida is a contemporary French sculptor and painter, working mainly in bronze and clay. Her "petites bonnes femmes"/ Little Women, are a poetic encounter meant to make us enter her universe, both feminine and timeless, and feel the emotions that these generations of women felt. Trained at l'Ecole d'arts plastiques et publicité de la ville de Paris (EMSAT) and employed in the studio of Marielle Polska for 6 years, she has been exhibited in galleries since 1990. Valérie Hadida was born in 1965 and grew up during the 1980s and was inspired by the artistic culture of the time.

Born in 1965 in Île-de-France, (France), Valérie HADIDA, a sculptor and painter, lives and works in the Parisian region. She graduated from the School of Plastic Arts and Advertising of the city of Paris (EMSAT). Valérie HADIDA worked in the studio of Marielle POLSKA for 6 years. Valérie Hadida’s “little good women,” as she likes to call the characters she creates, offer a poetic encounter that invites us to delve into her universe, both feminine and timeless, for a journey through the human soul. Sculpted and sketched, these female representations take us through the journey of women, from adolescence to maturity, and across the various emotions and states of mind that animate these generations of women. Valerie Topete’s beloved Aunt Marie lost her fight with breast cancer last year. In honor of her aunt and to raise money for cancer research, Topete will ride twelve miles around Harriman State Park with the Pink Wheels for a Cure event. Her children are helping her design a sign for her bike with some of her favorite photographs with her aunt. The event promises to bring healing and hope for participants and survivors alike.

New York City has given Valerie Topete so much that she wants to give back to those who are less fortunate. She is organizing the “Bike Courier Olympics” which will be a charity event to raise money for homeless shelters. Events will include “fastest packing,” “10 block sprint,” “2-mile-long haul,” and a “45-minute obstacle course.” To compete, each entrant will need to raise at least two hundred dollars in pledges to donate
