Patrick Rhatigan is the 19th Airlift Wing Commander at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. Before this, he has served the 379th Expeditionary Operations Group, Office of the Secretary of Defense, as well as the 93rd Air Refueling Squadron. During his professional journey, he received a multitude of awards and decorations. He is also associated with many renowned groups, including the USAFA Class of 1991, Veterans To Business Mentor Network, Veteran Mentor Network, The US Air Force Academy Association Of Graduates, Zoomie Alumni, Legislative Affairs Network, National War College - Class of 2010, Eagles' Group (Eagles' Executive Transition Assistance Network), and others.

Patrick Rhatigan took charge as the 19th Airlift Wing Commander of Little Rock AFB, Arkansas in July 2013. Col. Rhatigan assured the veterans that his focus would be stability and to release the creative minds of the airmen. As the 19th Airlift Wing Commander, Rhatigan leads the largest fleet of C-130 aircraft of the world, and is responsible for providing worldwide deployable C-130 aircraft, equipment, expeditionary combat support, and personnel for Air Mobility Command as well as Air Expeditionary Force tasking. Patrick is a proven commander and warrior who is always ready to encounter challenges. Before joining Little Rock AFB, he had served as the 379th Expeditionary Operations Group Commander in Southwest Asia.

Patrick Rhatigan was appointed as the Chief of Wing Safety for the 92nd Air Refueling Wing at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington. This wing is responsible for providing reliable as well as rapid passenger and cargo airlift, air refueling, and aero medical evacuation missions supporting the United States along with coalition conventional operations. The 92nd Air Refueling Wing operates 58 aircrews and 34 KC-135 R/T Stratotanker refueling aircraft worth $1.6 billion to support international military missions. In 2008, Patrick Rhatigan was appointed as the 93rd Air Refueling Squadron commander at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington.

Patrick Rhatigan is the 19th Airlift Wing Commander at Little Rock Air Force Base, AR. He also served the Headquarters as the Chief of the Mobility Programs Integration Branch for 1 year. There, he incorporated 7 Major Commands' inputs into tenacious mobility as well as special operation forces portfolio that cost $110 throughout the 5 Years Defense Plan for the Global Mobility enterprise. Patrick also suggested and developed Air Force positions on fiscal programming, force structure, and flying hours for senior Air Force leaders making the Program Objective Memorandum along with the President's Budget.

Patrick Rhatigan is an experienced 19th Airlift Wing Commander working with Little Rock AFB in Arkansas. Prior to this, he was employed at the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Pentagon for 2 years. He worked as a Military Assistant to Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. During the employment, he advised the Assistant Secretary on national security, and various defense responsibilities in order that he could support the Secretary of Defense in his dealings with the Cabinet Members, White House, the Department of State, and the Members of Congress. He has also served the offices of the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense, the Secretary Defense's primary interface with the Directors of Legislative Liaison of the Military Services, and many more.
