2The focus of this project was due to consistent
population increase and lack of space on existing
site.We identified that we must, through the
development of professional learning teams build
upon our purposeful teaching practice. Our aim
was to focus on teaching and learning underpinned
by a shared vision and goals.

4Flexible Learning Spaces
5 We visited the schools to view different
building designs, settings, the use of ICT,
teaching philosophies. Posters were created
where staff could write down ideas of what the
staff of Bannockburn Primary School would like
our new school to look like, have, not have
etc. We presented a photo display of photos of
the school visited. Developed a visits
checklist to mark down things we liked.
Educational brief for the community, architects
and staff. Completion of the Students Learning
Questionnaire. Professional Development with
staff.

7The staff is trialling different approaches,
groupings, use of space, use of ICT, team
teaching and planning. The 5/6 team have opened
up teaching spaces and created flexible learning
areas that cater for individual students needs.
We are also creating an ICT environment using
laptops, Smart boards, iPod's across
learning.The members of the TPL team are
currently working with Architects in the Building
Futures phase. Based on the knowledge we have
gained from the TPL process we have been able to
contribute our ideas and thoughts on creating
flexible learning spaces.We are in the process
of developing a Master Plan with the Architects.
8Point Lonsdale Shared Learning Spaces
9We will continue to visit schools with the rest
of our teams. During these visits staff will take
note of the aspects they like and dislike which
will help to develop a shared vision across the
staff. This will lead to the implementation of
purposeful teaching and learning with a focus on
personalised learning in flexible learning
spaces.We will assist teachers to trial
different teaching methods to allow for an easier
transition for both teachers and students when we
enter the new school.Through the Building
Futures process we also hope to continue to have
an input in the building of the new school.
