During her high school, American flutist Jessica Ashley Kahal went on tour to Washington DC, NYC, and Philadelphia with the school’s choir. She was in the Woman’s Jazz Chorus, called “Here Comes Treble”. As part of a special invitation, she performed at the Kennedy Center and was highly appreciated for her excellent skills. Getting the chance to perform at the Armstrong Theater was a dream come true for the young Jessica Kahal. She was the featured flutist and also a featured student conductor in the concert. Around a year after 9/11 terrorist attacks, Jessica performed with her high school choir in a candlelight memorial in the memory of those who lost their lives. She gave a solo flute performance on her favorite “Danny Boy” leaving everyone present in the school’s amphitheater emotional.

Dedicated to everyone who lost their lives during the September 11th attacks, Jessica Kahal’s performance with her high school choir tops the list of her favorites. Combined choirs sang songs such as ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘This Is My Country’ in the school’s amphitheater. With Jessica Kahal performing ‘Danny Boy’ in a solo flute performance, it was an emotional evening for all.

Her career includes participation in 2002 CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships. She also joined The Jack Kramer Club in Rolling Hills Estates as a Pool Lifeguard. She also has excellent singing skills and has participated in a number of musical festivals and sung in choirs. Jessica also played flute solo at Winter Concert in the year 2002.
