Jessica Kahal Has Taken Part In Various
Extracurricular Activities

Jessica Kahal is an experienced swimmer who has
incredible talent in this sport. Her dedication
and excellence have helped her to earn reputation
and won various competitions and events in
swimming. She was a member of San Pedro
Peninsula YMCA Swim Team, a club swim team whose
coach was Dan Halladay. In addition to this, she
was also among the team members of Girls
Fresh/Sophomore and Varsity Swimming.

Jessica Kahal has great swimming skills and her
career includes participation in the 2002 CIF
State Swimming and Diving Championships (part of
4x50 Freestyle Relay and 4x50 Medley Relay). In
the same year, she joined The Jack Kramer Club in
Rolling Hills Estates as a Pool Lifeguard. At
this club, she was responsible for looking over
people swimming in the pool.

In addition to swimming, she also has excellent
singing skills and has participated in a number
of musical festivals and sung in choirs. When she
was at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in
California, she took part in the various High
School Musicals including West Side Story, Fame!,
and Bye Bye Birdie.

Jessica played flute solo at Winter Concert in
the year 2002. In addition, she also participated
in a flute competition Certificate of Merit
Competition in 2003. She was honored by Spanish
National Honor Society, an academic honor
society, for her Spanish language excellence in
secondary education. Additionally, National Honor
Society also honored her for her active
participation in community services.

There are a large number of activities in which
Jessica Kahal has taken a part including
California State University Long Beach Concert
Band, Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra
David Benoit director, Intermediate and Advanced
Orchestra, Mr. Marino director, Choir and Jazz
Choir, etc. She has two brothers whom she loves
very much.
