- Unpack the printer and take out the printer
supplies such as power cord, software
installation disc, user guide, and ink
cartridges. - Remove the protective tapes from the printer.
- Connect the printer to an electrical outlet
using the supplied power cord and power up the
printer. - Unpack the ink cartridges. Shake them gently
to distribute the ink evenly. - Install the ink cartridges into the printer.
- Pull out the paper input tray and load a stack
of plain white paper into it. - Adjust the loaded paper with the paper-width
