The Health Care Information Appliance Project
  • The Health Care Information-Appliance Project
    required the students to develop an informal
    functional specification and then design and
    implement a prototype Information Appliance (IA)
    aimed at improving public health by helping
    people become more directly involved in their own
    health care. The IA should allow a person to
    enter, access, display, store, and manipulate
    information about health related issues.
