MALARIA AN IMPORTANT ROLE
  • Three NGOs take part in the program acting as
    partners with separate plan, budget and
    activities
  • PSI distribute IEC materials in 14 counties
    delivery LLINTs in 7 counties in Yunnan Province.
  • HU carry out health education for 250
    communities in 14 counties, and health education
    for the labors across the China-Myanmar borders.
  • RCSC distribute free LLINTs for 27 counties in
    Yunnan Province and 9 counties in Hainan
    Province.
  • Budget 2,739,715 USD in Phase I. It takes 13.7
    of total program budget.

Round Five Malaria
  • Two NGOs participate the program acting as
    Sub-Recipients
  • HPP delivery face-to-face health education to
    264,000 families and trace 88,000 ones of them
    delivery community based health education in 600
    target villages.
  • HU build 40 new Malaria treatment sites and
    strengthen 30 Malaria treatment sites in the
    target areas of Myanmar by providing training for
    140 health workers, medicine and essential
    equipments distribute 113,260 LLINTs and promote
    their usage in Myanmar, etc.
  • Budget
  • HPP 1,214,097 USD in Phase I, it takes 17.23 of
    total program budget.
  • HU 3,732,241 USD in Phase I, it takes 52.96 of
    total program budget.

    prevention an newly emerging area with limited
    experiences.

    management capacities.
