Title: Medisoft
1Medisoft
2The standard opening screen
All key Functions Accessed From a Single screen
3The calibration history is Visible in one screen
showing What calibrations have taken place. The
time and date of the calibration is listed. Open
allows a review of the existing data New creates
a new calibration record
4From each calibration the screen is easy to read
and understand. The calibration values are
entered, a green traffic light signals a good
calibration, amber means adjustment advisable,
Red ,means adjustment essential For gases, zero,
span, transport time and response time are
checked, More shows actual values
5Flow calibration is performed at low and high
flow rates. It can be checked at all flow
rates. The syringe size is selectable to any
size 2 or 3 litre are used as standard.
6Adding a new patient
Completing these five simple fields, will enable
a record to be opened. (Alternatively the
Hospital system maybe polled to look for the
subject and import the biographical data)
7This basic entry, then opens a full screen to add
the Physician, Predicted files and in the right
panel 10 of each, data, text, date and logical
fields that you can construct for your use.
8The search facility allows for individual fields
to be matched or to look over a range of visit
dates or alternatively to select a test type or
types.
On the main screen the recorder buttons allow the
user to scroll through the database list.
9Ready to test
PFT - Exercise - Exercise with ECG ECG Stress
- ECG Rest Select the type of test you
wish to run by the icon
10Enter subject Weight, height and other details
pertaining to this visit, select the technician
from your technician list and move on with the OK
key.
11Physicians and Technicians are selectable from a
dropdown list, this list can be edited by the
user to add or remove entries
12Select a work protocol
It is easy to select a work protocol from a list
or design a new protocol. The protocol can be set
to be for Cycle or treadmill. Also a step or
continuous (ramp) stage. Up to three recovery
levels can be established.
12 or 3 lead ECG mode can be selected
13The ECG configuration is also available to be set
for user preference.
14Pre - Test
As the test commences, the operator can ensure
good quality for the three basic channels Flow
CO2 O2 All other signals such as blood pressure
can be checked from this screen.
15The time of the test will appear here The active
step is displayed and can be advanced with the up
arrow The actual work in Watts will be displayed
here, and can be manually advanced or
decreased The START, RECOVERY and END stages are
set here The Work Protocol can be viewed with
this key at any time during the test.
16When the traces are acceptable, then start to
record data
17Selecting between screens as the test runs is
very simple, The first tab is to review raw data
and waveforms, the second tab to perform
spirometry during exercise, the third tab to see
a runtime graph against time, the fourth tab to
view the AT graph and graphs suitable for
regression analysis, the fifth tab to set up and
dynamically change runtime graph presentations 4
on screen graphs, the sixth tab is to view data
in a tabular format
18The typical runtime screen, key buttons show the
watch parameters, they are easily changed with
the drag and drop function of the main list to
the right of the screen. Each record is a breath.
19Two fixed and one variable regression graph, the
parameters for the variable graph can be selected
during testing
20The totally selectable four graph screen, any
parameter can be selected to graph whilst the
test is in progress
21The tabular format with predicted values, and
step data with a selectable mean based on a time
increment to whole breaths to emulate the data
from a steady state mixed expired system
22Tidal volume during exercise
This can also be performed with NEP
23Post test analysis
Typical data the display can be a data point for
each breath or as line format be joining the dots.
24The slope analysis is both simple and versatile
to the user
25By one simple check box the data can be viewed
with and without recovery data
These graph formats are totally selectable by the
user.
26Tabular data is presented in a clean and easy to
read format
