Matthew 21-12 Now when Jesus was born in
Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the
king, behold, there came wise men from the east
to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born
King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in
the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod
the king had heard these things, he was troubled,
and all Jerusalem with him.
3
Matthew 21-12 And when he had gathered all the
chief priests and scribes of the people
together, he demanded of them where Christ
should be born. And they said unto him, In
Bethlehem of Judaea for thus it is written by
the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of
Juda, art not the least among the princes of
Juda for out of thee shall come a Governor, that
shall rule my people Israel.
4
Matthew 21-12 Then Herod, when he had privily
called the wise men, enquired of them
diligently what time the star appeared. And he
sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search
diligently for the young child and when ye have
found him, bring me word again, that I may come
and worship him also. When they had heard the
king, they departed and, lo, the star, which
they saw in the east, went before them, till it
came and stood over where the young child was.
5
Matthew 21-12 When they saw the star, they
rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when
they were come into the house, they saw the
young child with Mary his mother, and fell down,
and worshipped him and when they had opened
their treasures, they presented unto him gifts
gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And being
warned of God in a dream that they should not
return to Herod, they departed into their own
country another way.

Mark 1243-44 And he called unto him his
disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say
unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more
in, than all they which have cast into the
treasury For all they did cast in of their
abundance but she of her want did cast in all
that she had, even all her living.

Luke 1220-21 But God said unto him, Thou fool,
this night thy soul shall be required of thee
then whose shall those things be, which thou
hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure
for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Matthew 1626 For what is a man profited, if he
shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for
his soul?
11
Matthew 624 No man can serve two masters for
either he will hate the one, and love the other
or else he will hold to the one, and despise
the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
12
Matthew 619-21 Lay not up for yourselves
treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves break through and
steal But lay up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal
For where your treasure is, there will your heart
be also.
13
Luke 1610-11 He that is faithful in that which
is least is faithful also in much and he that
is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the
unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust
the true riches?
14
1 Timothy 66-10 But godliness with contentment
is great gain. For we brought nothing into this
world, and it is certain we can carry nothing
out. And having food and raiment let us be
therewith content. But they that will be rich
fall into temptation and a snare, and into many
foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in
destruction and perdition.
15
1 Timothy 66-10 For the love of money is the
root of all evil which while some coveted
after, they have erred from the faith, and
pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

2 Corinthians 85 And this they did, not as we
hoped, but first gave their own selves to the
Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
