Secure Patient Communications

•    Structured Communications System
  generated, and often automated communications
  using interoperable applications delivering
  information directly to the patients and
  providers from a medical device or healthcare
  system.
• Ad Hoc Communications Enabling patients,
  medical personnel, insurers, employers, and other
  caregivers to securely communicate with each
  other, potentially in an informal manner, at any
  time.
