Vocab memory sequence
1) Teach drill the word or phrase for each
picture 2) Point to a picture randomly or in any
order. Pupils say the word/phrase. If its
correct, click on it, the picture will turn into
a number. Ask the pupils to memorise the position
of the numbers 3) Once all the numbers have been
revealed, click recommence to restart. Ensure all
the pictures are face up (you may need to restart
the whole slide show) 4) The aim is for pupils to
say the word or phrase to reveal the numbers in
the correct order. Pupils can do this in pairs,
teams or as an individual challenge. Variation
use 9 pictures in a 3x3 grid and play naughts and
crosses or 3 in a row first. Use 10 pictures (2
rows of 5) or even 12 pictures (the trick is to
remember a row of numbers as a telephone number)
